Allan Ballard Archive
Limited Edition Prints
Allan Ballard was a prolific photographer from the 1960s through to the 1990s. He started out shadowing the picture editor at the Evening Standard, and before long worked with eminent fashion photographer John Cowan. Allan spent six months in New York working for American Vogue.
On his return to London Allan set up his own studio in Primrose Hill. Continuing his rise in the world of photography his subjects became more high profile and newsworthy, including the film stars, directors and politicians; and of course rock stars.
Allan became a pre-eminent photographer of musicians and bands of his era, producing many memorable and collectible shots which remain popular today.
Allan's archive of works is extensive. Shown below are a few prints that are available to buy, however there are many, many more subjects not shown below. If you are interested in any of his work please get in touch and we will be happy to help.
All prints are issued as one of a catalogued limited edition, premier giclée prints on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm fine art paper. All prints bear the official stamp from the Allan Ballard Estate and a certificate of authenticity.
